This mask is a tribute to the dark figure of kurdish women who have died by the hand of men. This mask was woven and spiraled by hand, string by string, symbol by symbol, praying for peace and forgiveness for those that have passed and honoring the resilience and beauty that is in our spirits because of them today. As an artist, I’m passionate about creating spaces where creativity can flourish. Over the past decade, I’ve been involved in organizing various events, exhibitions, and festivals, including the three-year WF Festival in Thailand and art exhibitions through Zelu in Portugal.
If you’re planning an event and could benefit from a creative perspective, I’d love to hear from you.
